Delhi’s ‘Spiderman’ Strikes Again: Another Man Booked for Dangerous Stunt on Car Bonnet

Another ‘Spiderman’ from Delhi has found himself in trouble with the law after a video of him performing a dangerous stunt on a moving car’s bonnet went viral. This incident comes just months after a similar stunt by another ‘Spiderman’ in April led to police action. The latest incident involved a 20-year-old man named Aditya, who was identified by the Delhi Traffic Police following a complaint on social media. The video, which quickly gained attention online, showed Aditya, dressed in the iconic red and blue Spiderman costume, perched precariously on the bonnet of a car as it navigated the roads of Dwarka.

The Delhi Traffic Police took swift action, identifying Aditya and the driver of the vehicle, Gaurav Singh, who was also booked for various traffic violations. The charges against Gaurav Singh included dangerous driving, driving without a pollution certificate, and failure to wear a seatbelt. These violations could result in a hefty fine of up to Rs. 26,000 or even imprisonment.

This incident marks the second time this year that a ‘Spiderman’ in Delhi has been apprehended for reckless driving. In April, a video went viral showcasing a 20-year-old named Aditya Verma, dressed as Spiderman, riding a bike without a helmet and performing stunts on the Urban Extension Road-II. He was accompanied by his 19-year-old female friend, Anjali, who was riding pillion, also without a helmet. The bike was also found to be unregistered and lacked the necessary safety gear. The police intervened after receiving complaints about the dangerous stunt, which jeopardized not only the lives of the individuals involved but also those of other road users.

Both incidents highlight a disturbing trend of individuals using public roads as a stage for dangerous stunts, disregarding safety regulations and risking the lives of themselves and others. The Delhi Traffic Police has reiterated its commitment to taking strict action against such reckless behavior, aiming to deter future occurrences and ensure the safety of all road users.
