The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority and Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce are thrilled to announce that Delray Beach has been named Florida’s Best Beach in the 2024 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
To determine the top 10 winners, an expert panel nominated their favorite Florida coastlines, which were then opened to public voting. Locals were allowed to cast one vote per day throughout the competition.
“We are so pleased that the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards has recognized what we locals have known all along – that Delray Beach is Florida’s best beach, if not the world’s!” said Laura Simon, Executive Director of the Delray DDA.
“Delray Beach not only offers a world-class beach with a Blue Flag rating, but also features an exciting downtown with eclectic restaurants, charming shops, and vibrant art galleries,” added Stephanie Immelman, President & CEO of the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce.
