In honor of the Dia Art Foundation’s golden jubilee, Dia Beacon hosted an extraordinary celebration in partnership with Bottega Veneta. The evening unfolded within the hushed halls of the museum, granting privileged guests an exclusive preview of captivating new exhibitions by Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Maren Hassinger, Mary Heilmann, Rita McBride, Steve McQueen, and Meg Webster.
Steve McQueen’s subterranean environment, a testament to his artistic prowess, drew attendees into an immersive sensory experience. Meg Webster’s ethereal natural sculptures invited contemplation, while Andy Warhol’s vibrant canvases provided a backdrop for countless photo opportunities. Amidst Gerhard Richter’s mirrored artworks, guests sipped mimosas, immersing themselves in the enchanting ambiance.
The celebration drew an esteemed crowd of art aficionados, including Frances McDormand, Julianne Moore, Lauren Santo Domingo, Thelma Golden, Kate Young, and Derek Blasberg. Their elegant attire, featuring head-to-toe Bottega Veneta ensembles, complemented the sophisticated setting. Julianne Moore remarked on the brand’s enduring appeal, citing its chic and effortless designs.
Artists Jeffrey Gibson, Adam Pendleton, and Marilyn Minter graced the event with their presence, adding to the artistic camaraderie.
