## Diksha Dagar Takes Home the Hero Shot Skills Challenge Title at Hero Women’s Indian Open
Two-time Olympian Diksha Dagar has added another feather to her cap, winning the Hero Shot skills challenge at the prestigious Hero Women’s Indian Open. The competition, held at the DLF Golf and Country Club, saw eight talented players vying for a share of the $10,000 prize pool.
Diksha’s victory came in a thrilling final showdown against fellow Indian golfer Tvesa Malik. Both players displayed impressive skills, but it was Diksha who emerged victorious by hitting the ball closest to the pin from 110 yards on the 18th hole.
The road to the final was paved with impressive performances. Diksha and Tvesa overcame stiff competition from Spain’s Nuria Iturrioz and England’s Alice Hewson in the semi-finals. Earlier, they secured their place in the semi-finals after emerging as the top four performers in the quarter-finals, where the competition was from 80 yards.
The Hero Shot skills challenge provided a thrilling prelude to the main event, the Hero Women’s Indian Open. The tournament, which kicked off on Thursday, features a strong field of 114 players from 30 countries, including top-ranked players like Chiara Tamburlini (Switzerland), Alice Hewson (England), and Mannon De Roey (Belgium).

Kavita Singh, president of the Women’s Golf Association of India, expressed her delight at the commencement of another edition of the championship.
