DIRECTV is expanding its streaming lineup with the addition of seven new channels through partnerships with Cineverse Corp. (NASDAQ: ) and Scripps Networks. Cineverse, known for its diverse portfolio of channels, is bringing its popular family programming channel to DIRECTV streaming homes. DIRECTV and Cineverse will collaborate to identify additional channels from Cineverse’s portfolio for potential inclusion in the future.
In a separate agreement with Scripps Networks, Court TV and Scripps News are now available to DIRECTV customers’ streaming entertainment. These additions enhance DIRECTV’s already robust lineup, providing customers with a wider variety of genres and specialized content.
DIRECTV’s recent channel additions, including those from Cineverse, bring the total on-demand show library to nearly 4,000 hours. This vast collection encompasses popular genres such as action-adventure, anime, comedy, crime, drama, documentary, kids and family, sports, and many more.
