Disney Cruise Line Sets Sail for Asia in 2025, Bringing Magic to Singapore

Disney Cruise Line is bringing its enchanting world of storytelling and entertainment to Asia in 2025, with the Disney Adventure setting sail from Singapore. This marks the first time a Disney Cruise Line ship will be based in Asia, offering families in the region a top-tier sea vacation experience. The ship will offer three and four-night cruises, promising an immersive journey through the realms of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel.

“We’re bringing the magic of Disney Cruise Line to Asia for the first time ever, and we want to give our guests the cruise relaxation and Disney fun they can only experience aboard one of our ships,” said Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager, Disney Cruise Line. “When they set sail on the Disney Adventure, guests will find incredible, immersive areas that bring the worlds of Disney, Pixar and Marvel to life in ways like never before – and these uniquely Disney experiences will inspire families to reconnect, recharge and make unforgettable memories that they’ll cherish forever.”

The Disney Adventure is more than just a ship; it’s a journey through imagination, discovery, fantasy, and adventure. Guests will be transported to seven distinctively themed zones, each bursting with iconic Disney characters and memorable activities. At the heart of the shipboard experience is the Disney Imagination Garden, a captivating blend of lush valleys, enchanting gardens, and al fresco performance areas. Here, guests can relive a century of Disney tales, from Moana’s oceanic quests to Mowgli’s jungle adventures, inspiring them to embark on their own unforgettable adventures.

Discovery takes center stage, encouraging guests to explore the unknown. This theme comes alive in areas like Disney Discovery Reef, where families can dine and shop amidst a seascape inspired by beloved aquatic tales from Disney and Pixar, such as “The Little Mermaid” and “Finding Nemo”. San Fransokyo Street, drawing from “Big Hero 6,” pulsates with the energy of a dynamic market, while Wayfinder Bay offers a serene escape under the sun, influenced by the art of “Moana”.

In Town Square, the magic of fantasy creates a whimsical world where fairy tales become reality. This lush setting celebrates Disney royalty with a touch of summer magic, immersing visitors in settings reminiscent of stories like “Tangled” and “Cinderella”. For thrill-seekers and fans of epic narratives, Marvel Landing provides an action-packed area dedicated to superhero adventures, while Toy Story Place immerses families in the playful, interactive world of Pixar’s beloved characters.

Onboard the Disney Adventure, each cruise is a grand affair combining Disney’s well-known offerings—fun, relaxation, gourmet dining, stellar entertainment, and exceptional service. Guests of all ages can enjoy a plethora of activities, from interactive play zones and outdoor fun to dazzling performances and character meet-and-greets. Disney’s unparalleled dining experiences turn every meal into a story, enhanced by dedicated service that makes each guest feel uniquely cared for. When it’s time to unwind, beautifully designed staterooms await, featuring thoughtful Disney touches and practical amenities like the signature split-bath design.

“Consumers in this region have shown such strong affinity for Disney, and we are thrilled to bring an unparalleled Disney Cruise Line vacation to their backyard,” said Sarah Fox, vice president and regional general manager, Asia, Disney Cruise Line. “By infusing Disney’s signature service with handpicked experiences unique to Asia, guests can look forward to the magic at sea through personalized touches, a selection of global cuisines, and abundant retail offerings carrying a distinct local flavor.”

Departing from Marina Bay Cruise Centre, the Disney Adventure will become a new fixture in Singapore’s vibrant cruise scene for at least five years, in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board. This strategic partnership leverages Singapore’s exceptional connectivity and infrastructure, making it a pivotal cruise hub in Southeast Asia. With a passenger capacity of roughly 6,700 and about 2,500 crew members, the Disney Adventure is set to redefine cruising in the region.
