During a recent Congressional hearing, US Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm admitted that the Department of Energy (DoE) has engaged the US military’s Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) in investigating UFOs around nuclear facilities. The admission is notable as JSOC has long been linked to alleged efforts to retrieve alien technology from crashed UFOs.
Representative Anna Paulina Luna pressed Granholm on the collaboration, asking if the DoE worked with JSOC in handling security measures. While Granholm initially avoided a direct answer, she eventually confirmed the partnership, stating that the DoE works with all federal security entities as part of a coordinated national security effort.
Luna further questioned Granholm on the alleged retrieval and reverse engineering of technology from UFOs, but the Secretary denied having knowledge of such activities. Leading UFO expert Jeremy Corbell has suggested that JSOC’s involvement with the DoE in UFO investigations is significant, potentially indicating a hardcore involvement in the crash retrieval program under the authority of the CIA.
It is important to note that the term UFO (or UAP as it is now formally called) refers to any flying or aerial object of unknown origin or nature, and does not necessarily imply an alien connection. However, the admission of JSOC’s involvement in UFO investigations has sparked renewed interest in the long-standing speculation about the government’s potential involvement in retrieving and studying alien technology.
