The recent meeting between Minister of Tourism Denise Charles-Pemberton and WINAIR officials focused on expanding air travel options, strengthening partnerships, and exploring new routes. The meeting saw the participation of key figures from WINAIR, including the Operations Manager, Dhanash Ramdath, and the CEO, Hans van de Velde. During their stay, the WINAIR team explored Dominica’s natural wonders, visiting Trafalgar Falls, Fresh Water Lake, and the Sulphur Springs. They also toured the Kalinago Territory and engaged in water sports activities at Soufriere.
The discussions touched upon WINAIR’s vision for the region and Dominica’s aviation aspirations. Both parties explored increased collaboration opportunities, such as launching new routes and providing more direct flights.
