A tragic accident occurred in the Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday morning, leaving two people dead and 16 injured. A double-decker bus, en route from Miyanganj to Chandigarh, collided with a parked truck in the Toli village, located within the jurisdiction of the Sikandara Rao police station.
According to District Magistrate Ashish Kumar, the bus, carrying passengers, crashed into the stationary truck on the roadside. The incident, attributed to the driver’s negligence, resulted in the loss of two lives and left 16 individuals injured.
Upon receiving news of the accident, Hathras Superintendent of Police (SP) Nipun Aggarwal immediately dispatched police officials to the scene. The police swiftly initiated a rescue operation to assist those involved in the accident. The injured were promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention.
