The 5th annual World MICE Awards Gala Ceremony, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, celebrated the best in the global meetings, incentives, conferencing, and exhibitions (MICE) industry. Dubai emerged as a dominant force, securing the prestigious title of ‘World’s Best MICE Destination’. This solidified the UAE emirate’s position as a leading player in the MICE sector.
Dubai World Trade Centre achieved a remarkable trifecta, winning three major awards: ‘Middle East’s Best Convention Centre’, ‘World’s Best Professional Exhibitions Organiser’, and ‘United Arab Emirates’ Best Convention Centre’. The Museum of the Future also enjoyed a successful night, taking home both ‘World’s Best MICE Event Venue’ and ‘Middle East’s Best MICE Event Venue’.
The awards recognized excellence across various geographical regions. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, was crowned ‘Asia’s Best MICE Destination’ and ‘Asia’s Best Incentive Destination’. Lima, Peru, received the award for ‘Latin America’s Best MICE Destination’, while Saint Lucia was honored as the ‘Caribbean’s Best Corporate Retreat Destination’. Lisbon retained its title as ‘Europe’s Best MICE Destination’, while Los Angeles was recognized as ‘North America’s Best MICE Destination’.
In the aviation category, Vietnam Airlines took home the title of ‘Asia’s Best MICE Airline’, Qatar Airways won ‘Middle East’s Best MICE Airline’ and ‘World’s Best MICE Airline’, and Kenya Airways was named ‘Africa’s Best MICE Airline’.

Other notable winners included Venice, Italy, awarded ‘World’s Best Incentive Destination’; IMEX Frankfurt, recognized as ‘World’s Best MICE Tradeshow’; Vietravel, named ‘World’s Best MICE Organiser’; InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, honored as ‘World’s Best MICE Hotel Brand’; and Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay, crowned ‘World’s Best New MICE Hotel’.
These awards are the culmination of a year-long global search for the top MICE brands. Votes were cast by MICE industry professionals and the public, making the awards a true reflection of the industry’s choices. The winners represent the highest standards of excellence in the MICE industry, setting the bar for future innovation and growth.
