Say goodbye to bland inflight coffee and hello to a real caffeine fix! EasyJet has just upped their game by partnering with Costa Coffee, bringing one of the nation’s most beloved coffee brands to their trolley service. Now, passengers across all 1,184 EasyJet routes, spanning 170 destinations in 35 countries, can enjoy their go-to Costa coffee, from classic cappuccinos to indulgent Salted Caramel lattes.
This collaboration brings a much-needed upgrade for those early morning flights or anyone seeking a pick-me-up after a long journey. Imagine enjoying a frothy cappuccino as you soar above the clouds, or indulging in a comforting latte to soothe that end-of-holiday hangover.
The news has been met with enthusiasm, with one traveler, Trevor Goldsmith, calling it ‘excellent’ on X. While many have asked if they can use the Costa app onboard, the coffee chain has confirmed that this feature isn’t available at this time.
The price for a cup of Costa onboard is reasonable, ranging from £3.75 to £3.95 – a bargain compared to some London coffee shops charging over £5 for a flat white.
To celebrate the launch, Costa Coffee’s ‘Master of Coffee,’ Gennaro Pelliccia, surprised passengers with a special coffee experience at 30,000 feet. Passengers were treated to complimentary goodie bags and free drinks from the new inflight range. Pelliccia commented, ‘It was an absolute pleasure to bring the Costa Coffee experience to life in the sky. Sharing a perfect cup of coffee with passengers as they embarked on their trip to Rome was a dream come true. Our Italian heritage continues to inspire us every day to reimagine new coffee experiences for coffee fans all around the world. Collaborating with EasyJet allows us to make every journey – even in the air – just that little bit more special.’
Passengers who prefer other refreshments can still choose from EasyJet’s diverse menu, including Itsu noodle pots and margherita pizzas.
This partnership between EasyJet and Costa Coffee is sure to make the travel experience more enjoyable for coffee lovers. So next time you’re flying EasyJet, be sure to grab a cup of Costa and take your in-flight experience to the next level.
