Eddie Murphy’s beloved character, Axel Foley, is back on the streets of Beverly Hills in Netflix’s upcoming film, ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.’ This marks the fourth installment in the iconic franchise, which first debuted in 1984.
In ‘Axel F,’ Foley learns that his daughter, Jane, is in danger and races to her aid. He reunites with his former partners Billy Rosewood and John Taggart, as well as new ally Joseph Gordon-Levitt, to investigate a complex conspiracy. Mark Molloy takes the director’s chair for ‘Axel F,’ marking his feature film debut. The script is penned by Will Beall, Tom Gormican, and Kevin Etten, based on Beall’s story. Jerry Bruckheimer returns as producer alongside Murphy, Chad Oman, and Melissa Reid.
