Connor Murphy emerged as the offensive catalyst for Edison, delivering two doubles that contributed to his impressive three-run performance. Anthony Calantoni’s well-rounded display at the plate included three hits, a triple, an RBI, and a run scored, aiding Edison’s climb to a 9-2 record. Dom Innocenti took control on the mound for Edison, coming within a whisker of completing the game and securing the victory for his team. Despite Luke Jones’ efforts in notching two hits and an RBI for Middlesex, Edison’s five-run surge over the final three frames proved insurmountable, solidifying their triumph.
