He joins El Mangroove following a successful tenure as General Manager at El Silencio Lodge & Spa, a renowned Relais & Chateaux property nestled in Costa Rica’s central highlands. At El Silencio, he oversaw the operations of 26 luxury suites and villas, earning widespread recognition for his leadership, unwavering commitment to excellence, and his ability to foster a culture focused on exceptional service and innovation.
Prior to his leadership role at El Silencio, Cappello served as Resort Manager at Nayara Springs and Nayara Spa & Gardens, two additional Relais & Chateaux properties situated in Costa Rica’s captivating Arenal region. His impressive resume also boasts notable roles as Food and Beverage Director at prestigious luxury hotels and resorts, including the Hyatt Andaz Peninsula Papagayo, Hotel La Samanna by Belmond, and Lux Belle Mare Island Resort.
Cappello is a graduate of the renowned Hotel Management School, Vatel, in Nimes, France, and is fluent in French, Spanish, and English.
