Electra.aero, Inc., a leading innovator in hybrid-electric aircraft, has announced the appointment of B. Marc Allen as its new Chief Executive Officer. Allen brings a wealth of experience from his distinguished career at The Boeing Company, where he most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President for Strategy and Corporate Development.
Allen’s tenure at Boeing spans over two decades, during which he held a variety of leadership roles. He managed Boeing’s $5 billion customer finance business, served on the Executive Council, and spearheaded the restructuring and full acquisition of Wisk Aero, a key player in the autonomous flight sector. As President of Boeing International, he was responsible for crucial enterprise-wide operations.
Beyond his leadership roles, Allen’s expertise extends to legal matters, having served as General Counsel of Boeing International. He also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University. His early career includes prestigious roles like clerking for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony M. Kennedy and co-founding a sports medicine startup.
Electra’s Founder and Chairman, John S.
