In a resounding display of dominance, Elizabeth High School’s baseball team cruised to a 10-0 victory over Union High School, thanks to a masterful performance on the mound by Alex Cras. Cras showcased his impeccable control over four innings, allowing only a solitary hit while striking out four batters and walking five. Elizabeth seized control of the game from the outset, capitalizing on Union’s fielding miscues to score three runs in the first inning. The offensive onslaught continued unabated in the third inning, with Elizabeth adding five more runs to their tally. Eliezer Cepeda emerged as the offensive catalyst for Elizabeth, delivering two hits in three at-bats, driving in three runs, and scoring one himself. His timely contributions proved instrumental in Elizabeth’s lopsided triumph.
