Last night, Tory Burch’s spring 2025 collection presentation at the Domino Sugar Refinery in Brooklyn drew a star-studded crowd. Among the A-listers in attendance were Michelle Williams, Jodie Turner-Smith, Mindy Kaling, and Elizabeth Olsen, all looking effortlessly chic in Burch’s modern and stylish designs.
For Elizabeth Olsen, attending a Tory Burch show is always a special occasion. Her friendship with the designer goes back years, with Olsen recalling, “She’s known me since I was a teenager, so I always love to see her and her family at these shows. Every show she creates has a celebratory and fun energy that makes anyone there smile.” Olsen, known for her own sophisticated style, was naturally drawn to the collection’s playful and sophisticated pieces.
For the show, Olsen chose a classic Tory Burch suit, featuring a polka-dot blazer and geometric-print trousers. “When I saw the bow-legged pants, I knew they would be a fast favorite,” Olsen shared with Vogue. “They’re flattering, comfortable, and cool. The shape and texture of them with the pattern of the blazer is playful and relaxed.”
Olsen also expressed her admiration for the collection’s spring-ready dresses, particularly one that caught her eye. “I loved this dress. It’s effortless and in person, you could see how beautifully it moved.” We can only imagine how stunning she would look in it on a red carpet!
Looking ahead to the fall, Olsen revealed that she’s embracing a more comfortable approach to fashion while still being willing to take risks. “I have enjoyed doing press recently for His Three Daughters with Carrie Coon and Natasha Lyonne; They’ve inspired me to show more leg and embrace dressing up.” This shift in style is likely influenced by her love for vintage pieces, which make up a significant portion of her wardrobe. “When I travel, I always try to find at least one special item from a vintage shop,” she shared. “The pieces often end up being blazers and button ups from the 80s and 90s, but I’m starting to build a slate of back-up vintage dresses fit for a red carpet if I’m ever in a pinch.”
With upcoming press for her film, “His Three Daughters,” and the world premiere of her new film, “The Assessment,” alongside Alicia Vikander and Himesh Patel, Olsen has plenty of red carpet appearances in the coming weeks. She is excited to share her work and the projects she’s passionate about with the world. “It’s a real privilege to make a film, and I’m incredibly proud to support the work in both of these independent films and share them with the world.”
