Elon Musk Congratulates Narendra Modi on Third Term as India’s Prime Minister

Tesla and X owner Elon Musk extended his congratulations to Narendra Modi upon his re-election as India’s Prime Minister for a third term. Musk expressed his enthusiasm for his companies’ involvement in exciting projects in India. He had previously planned a trip to India in April but postponed it due to pressing Tesla obligations.

Despite the delay, Musk remains committed to visiting India later this year and potentially discussing Tesla’s plans for the country. India’s recent implementation of its EV policy has drawn Musk’s attention, who considers it a natural progression for Tesla to offer electric vehicles in India.

The 2024 Lok Sabha election results culminated with the BJP securing 240 seats, falling short of their previous tally. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be sworn into office on June 9, 2024, by President Droupadi Murmu.
