Embraer Recognizes Top Suppliers at Annual ESC, Announces New Organizational Structure

Embraer recently acknowledged its top suppliers of the year at the annual Embraer Suppliers Conference (ESC), which took place during the company’s strategic alignment gathering with supply chain representatives. The ceremony recognized suppliers in 10 categories for their outstanding collaboration, performance, quality, and excellence, all of which significantly contributed to Embraer’s achievements last year. “We strongly believe that collaboration and resilience in connection with safety first and quality always are the foundations of our supply chain. I sincerely appreciate the suppliers who have demonstrated these values, working consistently to deliver efficiency and generate value for our companies and our industry,” said Roberto Chaves, Executive Vice-President of Global Procurement and Supply Chain at Embraer. At this year’s ESC, Embraer bestowed the designation of “Preferred Supplier” on the honored companies, making them eligible for inclusion in the Embraer Suppliers Advisory Council (ESAC). This council is an advisory group that discusses key trends and strategic issues, thereby strengthening partnerships and fostering business opportunities with Embraer. The conference also served as the platform for announcing a new organizational structure within the Vice Presidency of Global Procurement and Supply Chain. This reorganization aims to streamline supplier management, aligning with strategies to develop a more robust and resilient supply chain, thereby enhancing Embraer’s operational efficiency and supporting sustainable business growth. Embraer’s supply chain management effectively links the company’s business requirements with a diverse and extensive network of suppliers spread across over 60 countries. The company maintains a global purchasing policy that sets forth the principles for acquiring goods, services, and product industrialization, adhering to the highest standards of ethics, sustainability, transparency, and compliance.
