Emirates and MSC Cruises are extending their partnership for two more seasons, further solidifying Dubai’s position as a leading cruise hub. This announcement, made at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, reinforces a decade-long collaboration between the two companies. The partnership will continue to capitalize on the strengths of both entities, offering an enriched guest experience and bolstering Dubai’s cruise tourism infrastructure.
Over the next two seasons, travelers can book the Fly&Cruise holiday package through MSC Cruises, featuring Emirates round-trip flights from 21 airports in Europe and South America. The alliance will focus on joint promotional activities, including the Fly&Cruise initiative, and marketing efforts in key markets to enhance Dubai’s appeal as a cruise destination.
Both Emirates and MSC Cruises will share crucial data and insights to refine service quality, coordinate flight and cruise schedules, and streamline the check-in process at Port Rashid. The Fly&Cruise packages offer numerous conveniences, such as dedicated bus transfers from the airport to the ship and luggage check-in at the cruise terminal for direct collection at the final destination.
Leveraging Emirates’ global network, the MSC Fly&Cruise packages include flights from major cities across Europe and São Paulo. At Port Rashid, Emirates offers dedicated check-in counters where cruise passengers can check in their luggage and obtain boarding passes up to four hours before their flight, allowing them to proceed directly to their departure gate.
For the winter 2024/25 season, MSC Cruises’ flagship, MSC Euribia, will operate from Dubai, offering 7-night cruises to destinations such as Doha, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi, with some itineraries including Sir Bani Yas – the UAE’s largest natural island known for its beautiful beaches and diverse wildlife.
