Emirates is expanding the reach of its newly upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft, bringing its enhanced passenger experience to new destinations. Starting October 1, 2024, Zurich and Riyadh will be added to the itinerary, marking the first time Premium Economy class will be available in the Middle East/GCC region.

The upgraded Boeing 777, boasting the airline’s acclaimed Premium Economy and reimagined Business Class sections, will also commence operations to Geneva and Brussels. Geneva will be the first to feature the updated B777 cabins on all routes, starting September 22, 2024. Brussels will join the network on October 9, 2024, with six weekly flights.

The expansion of the upgraded Boeing 777 fleet marks a significant step in Emirates’ commitment to providing passengers with a superior in-flight experience.

The new Boeing 777 features a four-class configuration, with up to eight First Class suites, 38 Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 256 seats in Economy Class.

Business Class:

Passengers in Emirates’ new 777 Business Class will enjoy spacious seats that convert into 180-degree flat beds, enhanced privacy, and aisle access for each seat. The 20.7-inch-wide seats, crafted from soft leather, feature a personal mini-bar, a wooden table, multiple charging points, and new seat controls. In-flight dining in Business Class offers Royal Doulton fine bone china and exclusive cutlery, with a selection of top-tier champagnes and wines. The airline’s award-winning entertainment system and professional international cabin crew will ensure a memorable journey.

Premium Economy:

The Premium Economy seats, 19.5 inches wide and designed in cream leather, feature a 6-way adjustable headrest and provide an 8-inch recline with a 38-inch pitch for enhanced relaxation. The seating is complemented by a calf and footrest, in-seat charging facilities, and a wooden dining and cocktail table. Premium Economy passengers will also experience superior dining, similar to Business Class standards, starting with a welcome drink, fine beverages, and gourmet meals served on exquisite tableware.

By the year’s end, Emirates aims to include Premium Economy in 28 cities. Currently, 25 planes have been upgraded, with an additional 17 set to be retrofitted by December 2024.

These additions mark a significant expansion of Emirates’ global network and commitment to providing passengers with a high-quality and comfortable travel experience.
