Emirates Premium Economy Celebrates One Year of Success in Singapore

Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is celebrating a successful year since introducing its Premium Economy product in Singapore. Since June 2023, nearly 730 four-class A380 flights have flown between Singapore and Dubai, carrying over 26,000 passengers who have enjoyed the elevated travel experience.

Emirates’ Premium Economy has proven particularly popular among families and solo travelers from Singapore, with top outbound destinations including London, Dubai, Paris, Barcelona, and New York JFK. Passengers can experience the unique features of Premium Economy on flights EK 354 and EK 355 between Singapore and Dubai, where the flight itself becomes a destination.

Located at the front of the main deck, the Premium Economy cabin boasts 56 seats arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration. Designed with customer needs in mind, the cabin offers generous seat pitch and width, ideal for both work and relaxation. Passengers also benefit from convenient in-seat charging points and a side cocktail table.

Emirates Premium Economy passengers enjoy a curated in-flight experience that includes an innovative menu, an extensive selection of beverages, and exclusive amenities. A highlight is the availability of the exclusive Chandon Vintage Brut 2016, a special treat reserved only for Premium Economy passengers.

Rashed Alfajeer, Emirates’ Manager for Singapore & Brunei, expressed his delight at the product’s success: “We are delighted to commemorate the first anniversary of the launch of Emirates’ Premium Economy in Singapore which serves as the ideal middle ground between Economy Class and Business Class, offering travellers a more cost-effective choice for comfort and luxury in the sky. So far, customers from Singapore have loved the product and shown great interest in it. Demand and seat load are both highly positive. We are committed to offering our passengers the distinctive Emirates experience whenever they fly with us, and will continue innovating to provide customer-centric, future-forward services.”

The Premium Economy product is currently available on flights to 16 destinations worldwide, including London Heathrow, New York JFK, Houston, Melbourne, Tokyo Narita, Osaka, and Sao Paolo.
