This remarkable achievement marks the ninth consecutive year that Emirates’ cutting-edge ICE system has been lauded for its exceptional offerings. Pioneering in-flight entertainment since the early 1990s with the introduction of seat-back videos for economy class passengers, Emirates has consistently raised the bar for onboard entertainment. The ICE system now boasts an unparalleled selection of 6,500 channels, catering to diverse tastes across 40 languages. Passengers are treated to an extensive library of over 45 Academy Award® winning films, 5,000 on-demand entertainment options, and a wide range of live TV channels, including global news networks such as BBC, CNN, and Sky News Arabia. To further enhance the entertainment experience, passengers can tailor their preferences pre-flight through the Emirates app, ensuring seamless syncing upon boarding. Emirates’ commitment to premium travel is further exemplified by its recently introduced Premium Economy, which debuted on select A380 aircraft in late 2021. The airline has embarked on an ambitious cabin retrofit program, encompassing 110 A380s and 81 777s, to enhance the premium travel experience across its fleet.
