Emirates is set to unveil its newly refurbished Boeing 777s on six US routes, offering passengers an enhanced travel experience across all cabins. This exciting update includes the debut of its revamped Business Class seats and the much-anticipated Premium Economy class.
The upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft will be operating direct flights to Chicago, Boston, Dallas Fort Worth, and Seattle, as well as services to Miami via Bogotá and to Newark through Athens. These refreshed planes feature Emirates’ four cabin classes and signature amenities, and they will begin serving US destinations from next month through early 2025.
This fleet update will significantly expand the availability of Premium Economy across Emirates’ US network. By February 2025, Premium Economy will be offered on flights to and from 10 of Emirates’ 12 US destinations and two Latin American cities, including Bogotá and São Paulo. Emirates’ Premium Economy seats will be offered on a combination of Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft, serving 12 gateways across its 19-point network in the Americas.
The refreshed Boeing 777s will also feature Emirates’ new Business Class, offering a 1-2-1 seating configuration, enhanced privacy, fully-flat beds, and personal mini-bars, among other premium amenities.
Commenting on the introduction of Premium Economy to additional US routes, Adnan Kazim, Deputy President, and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates said: “With the success and popularity of Premium Economy on routes like New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Houston served by our refurbished A380, we look forward to bringing a new level of comfort and privacy to more cities with refreshed cabins on our Boeing 777s. The introduction of our refreshed product and ensuring consistent experiences in the sky on more routes is part of our long-standing commitment to the US and adding more premium options in a span of just a few months ensures we offer a competitive, value for money proposition for our customers.”
By the end of 2024, Emirates’ global network will see Premium Economy offered on 27 routes, using a combination of 48 Boeing 777, A380, and A350 aircraft. In addition to the US and Latin American destinations, refurbished Boeing 777s are already flying to cities such as Geneva, Tokyo Haneda, and Brussels, with Zurich and Riyadh scheduled for next month.
The continued expansion of Premium Economy across Emirates’ network allows US travelers to enjoy a blend of luxury and affordability on routes beyond Dubai, including popular destinations like Mumbai, Bangalore, and Singapore. Moreover, Emirates passengers flying to United’s hubs in Chicago, Houston, and San Francisco can enjoy Premium Economy before connecting to hundreds of US cities as well as destinations in Canada and Latin America.
The four-class Boeing 777 aircraft feature between six and eight First Class suites, 38 to 40 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 256 Economy Class seats. Across all cabins, travelers will experience refreshed interiors, complete with beautiful designs, new color schemes, upgraded carpeting, wall panels, and wood finishes, delivering a more modern and aesthetically pleasing environment.
