England Women’s all-time leading IT20 run scorer, Danni Wyatt-Hodge, is set to join Surrey for the 2025 season, bringing her vast experience and prolific batting to the South East Stars. This exciting move comes after Wyatt-Hodge decided not to renew her contract with Hampshire Women’s team, where she had played for the past eight seasons.
The 33-year-old all-rounder has been a mainstay of the England Women’s team, featuring in seven T20 World Cup squads and three ODI World Cups, including the victorious 2017 campaign. Wyatt-Hodge is the only woman to have scored more than one IT20 century, having achieved this feat in the 2017 Ashes and a 124 against India in early 2018.
Speaking on her move to Surrey, Wyatt-Hodge expressed her excitement: “I am both excited and honoured to be joining Surrey. The club has an incredible history with a culture of success to which I want to contribute. I love playing at the Kia Oval and can’t wait to entertain the Surrey supporters.
