A furious driver was caught on camera going on a rampage in Manhattan, plowing his car onto a sidewalk and chasing down a pedestrian. The wild road rage incident occurred on West 39th Street near Seventh Avenue on Monday.
The driver’s white sedan was filmed mounting the sidewalk in front of a shirtless pedestrian, knocking over two large trash cans in the process. As the pedestrian walked away, the driver then reversed and drove up the path again — sending terrified onlookers scrambling. The driver was caught on camera tearing down a bike lane as the shirtless pedestrian fled on foot.
Moments later, both men were filmed getting into a heated screaming match after the driver stopped his car in the middle of the sidewalk and jumped out. At one point, someone could be heard repeatedly shouting, “call the cops, call the cops right now.”
It wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the road rage incident. The Post reached out to the NYPD but didn’t immediately hear back.
