Equity Mutual Fund Inflows Decline in July

Open-ended equity mutual funds saw a decline in inflows for the first time in 41 months, according to the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI) report released on August 9. The inflows decreased by 8.61% in July, amounting to ₹ 37,113.39 crore. This dip is linked to a reduction in investments across both large-cap and mid-cap funds.

Despite this decline, open-ended equity funds have continued to experience positive inflows for the past 41 consecutive months. The reduction in investments may indicate a shift in investor sentiment or market conditions. This development is being closely observed by market experts and analysts.
