Extension of Air India Flight Suspensions to Tel Aviv Until May 15

Air India Extends Flight Suspensions to Tel Aviv Until May 15

Air India has announced that its flights to Tel Aviv will remain suspended until May 15 due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East. This extension follows a previous announcement made on April 19 that all services to this destination would be halted until the end of April.

The decision to extend the flight suspension was influenced by the persistent hostilities involving Israel and Hamas. On March 3, Air India, now under Tata ownership, had resumed its services to Tel Aviv after nearly five months of interruption. However, the situation in the region remains volatile, and the airline has decided to continue suspending its flights for the time being.

Air India operates four weekly flights from Delhi to Tel Aviv, and the suspension of these services has caused inconvenience to passengers. The airline has advised affected passengers to contact their nearest Air India office for assistance.

Despite the ongoing tensions and hostilities, discussions for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas are underway. The situation in the region remains fluid, and it is unclear when Air India will be able to resume its flights to Tel Aviv.
