Fallout Vinyl Soundtrack Announced, Features Cover, Gatefold Sleeve, and Color Inserts

Lakeshore Records is excited to announce the release of their Fallout vinyl soundtrack on June 11. The 2 x LP set will feature the music of legendary composer Ramin Djawadi, and will be pressed on opaque yellow and opaque blue vinyl. The gatefold sleeve will include color inserts, and the package will also include a digital download code.

Djawadi composed new character themes for the vinyl release, in addition to the licensed songs from the game. He said that he had to create themes for each character that represented their personality and followed their story arc. The licensed songs helped to connect the soundtrack to the universe of the game, and gave Djawadi the freedom to explore new sounds with the character themes.

The vinyl soundtrack is available for pre-order now, and is expected to ship on June 11. However, it is selling out quickly, so check other retailers next week if you are interested in purchasing a copy.

Here are some additional details about the vinyl soundtrack:

* The cover art features the three main characters from the game: The Lone Wanderer, Butch DeLoria, and Moira Brown.
* The gatefold sleeve includes an interview with Djawadi about the soundtrack.
* The color inserts include character art and behind-the-scenes photos.
* The vinyl is pressed on high-quality 180-gram vinyl.
* The digital download code is for a high-quality MP3 version of the soundtrack.
