In response to global warming and the carbon reduction movement, FENC’s Polyester Business defined its greenhouse gas emission reduction path in July 2024 through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). These goals, aligned with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C trajectory to limit the effects of climate change and keep global temperature rise below 1.5 degrees Celsius, demonstrate FENC’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
