The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced new rules regarding FASTags, the electronic toll collection system. These rules mandate the replacement of all five-year-old FASTags by the issuing agency, making it crucial for drivers to keep track of their tag’s expiry date. Furthermore, the re-KYC (Know Your Customer) process for FASTags will be conducted every three years to ensure accurate and updated information is maintained.
