Richfield, Utah
– A tragic accident on South Main Street in Richfield on Monday claimed the life of one individual. According to the Richfield City Police Department, the fatal crash involved a collision between a car and a utility terrain vehicle (UTV).Initial reports indicated that one person was ejected from a vehicle during the impact. This individual was transported to Sevier Valley Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. The police have not yet released information regarding which vehicle the ejected person was traveling in.
Occupants of the other vehicle involved in the crash were transported to the hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office, Utah Highway Patrol, and EMS. The investigation into the accident has been handed over to the Utah Highway Patrol.
