Edmonton police are investigating a fatal fight that occurred in a downtown parking lot on Thursday night. The incident took place at approximately 9:40 p.m. in the area of 108A Avenue and 98 Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a large group of people involved in a physical altercation. One individual, a 39-year-old male, sustained life-threatening injuries during the fight and was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
One suspect was apprehended at the scene, and authorities have stated that they are not seeking any additional suspects at this time. A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for May 13th.
