New Jersey Father Accused of Killing Son by Forcing Him to Run on Treadmill

A 31-year-old New Jersey father is on trial for allegedly murdering his 6-year-old son by forcing him to run on a treadmill at an excessive speed and inclination. According to prosecutors, Christopher Gregor forced his son, Corey Micciolo, to run on the treadmill as punishment for being “too fat.” The incident was captured on CCTV video, which was shown in court during the trial.

The video shows Gregor biting Corey’s head while forcing him to run on the treadmill. Corey eventually fell off the machine several times but was forced back on by his father. The boy later died from blunt force injuries with cardiac and liver contusions.

The incident has sparked outrage online, with many users expressing their anger and sadness over the child’s death. One user said, “The saddest part is, Corey wasn’t even ‘fat’; he looked like a normal 6 year old. How heartbreaking that she had to witness her son’s final moments.” Another user added, “Heart wrenching for a mother watching her son die. #Viralvideo shows how accused killer dad forcing 6-year-old son to run on treadmill because he was TOO FAT. How can a father be so cruel?”

If convicted, Gregor faces life in prison.
