In a horrifying incident that has shaken the community of Ghaziabad, a father has been arrested for the brutal murder of his 10-year-old son. The tragedy unfolded on Saturday morning when Naushad, the father, and his wife, Razia, discovered that ₹500 was missing from their home. Suspecting their son, Aad, they launched into a violent confrontation that would have devastating consequences.
According to reports, Naushad, known for his history of physically punishing his son, grabbed a blowpipe and repeatedly struck Aad. While the boy sustained multiple injuries, one blow to the head proved fatal. The young boy succumbed to his injuries, leaving behind a community in shock and grief.
Neighbors, who had witnessed Naushad’s abusive behavior toward his son on previous occasions, confirmed the horrifying account. Rahat Ali, a resident of Tyodi village where the family lived, stated that Naushad had made beating Aad a regular practice. “Naushad would beat up his son regularly. Today, he thrashed him because ₹ 500 went missing from the house, and the boy died,” he said.
Aad’s grandparents filed a complaint with the Ghaziabad police, leading to the arrests of Naushad and Razia. The Ghaziabad Assistant Commissioner of Police, Gyan Prakash Rai, confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
This tragic incident follows another shocking crime in Ghaziabad just a day earlier. Rani (20) and Raju Thapa (22) confessed to killing 21-year-old Nitish Sharma, who had been stalking Rani after she rejected his advances. Rani told police that she and Thapa killed Sharma to prevent him from harassing her further and because she wanted to marry Thapa. Sharma’s father, Kishore Sharma, filed a complaint, resulting in the arrest of Rani and Thapa.
These incidents paint a disturbing picture of violence and lawlessness in Ghaziabad. Authorities are investigating both cases, and the community awaits justice for the victims and their families.
