Ashok Kumar, 61, the father of Sivaraman, passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident in the Krishnagiri district. Sivaraman is currently facing charges related to allegedly running a fake NCC camp and sexually harassing schoolgirls in the area.
The incident occurred late Thursday night near Kaveripattinam. Local residents alerted the police about a man found injured and unresponsive. Upon arrival, authorities confirmed the deceased was Ashok Kumar.
According to the Kaveripattinam police, Ashok Kumar had been consuming alcohol prior to the accident. While riding his motorcycle home, he lost control due to intoxication, leading to the fatal fall.
The police transported his body to the government hospital in Krishnagiri for a postmortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
