A major fire broke out at Times Tower, located in Mumbai’s Kamala Mills Compound in Lower Parel West, around 6:29 am on Friday. According to a report by Lokmat, the fire was classified as a level-two incident, indicating a significant blaze.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) swiftly dispatched nine fire tenders to the scene. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.
The fire originated on the ground floor of the building and rapidly spread to the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors. The seven-story building houses commercial establishments. Firefighters are actively battling the blaze using eight fire engines and a turntable ladder.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, and further details are awaited.
