Former President Trump Slams RFK Jr., Giuliani Indicted in 2020 Election Case

Former President Trump, addressing the National Rifle Association’s Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas, criticized Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as a “radical left” figure. Meanwhile, Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes confirmed the indictment of Rudy Giuliani in relation to the 2020 election case. Mayes, a Democrat, stated via Twitter that Giuliani was the 18th defendant charged in the case, emphasizing that “nobody is above the law.” Giuliani, a former New York City mayor celebrating his 80th birthday at the time, denied the allegations and claimed that his celebration was not interrupted. Despite Giuliani’s denial, his political adviser, Ted Goodman, confirmed that Giuliani was indeed served the indictment as he made his way to his car after the birthday celebration. According to Richie Taylor, the attorney general’s spokesman, Giuliani faces the same charges as other defendants, including conspiracy, fraud, and forgery. Mark Meadows, Trump’s former White House chief of staff, is among those also indicted in the case. Arizona becomes the fourth state to charge allies of former President Trump for utilizing false or unproven claims of voter fraud in connection with the 2020 election. This action involves 11 Arizona Republicans who submitted a document to Congress declaring Trump’s victory in Arizona. Meanwhile, Giuliani continues to face other legal proceedings, including a bankruptcy case and an indictment in Georgia.
