Forsberg, Beauvillier Lead Predators to 4-1 Win Over Canucks, Tying Playoff Series 1-1

Filip Forsberg scored a goal and had an assist, while Anthony Beauvillier, a former Canuck, also recorded a goal and an assist as the Nashville Predators defeated the Vancouver Canucks 4-1 on Tuesday night, evening their best-of-seven playoff series at 1-1.

The Predators dominated the game from the start, with Forsberg opening the scoring just 1:14 into the contest. Beauvillier made it 2-0 midway through the second period, and Colton Sissons extended the lead to 3-0 shortly after. The Canucks finally got on the board with a goal from Nikita Zadorov late in the second, but Kiefer Sherwood sealed the victory with an empty-net goal in the third period.

Juuse Saros made 17 saves for the Predators, while Casey DeSmith stopped 12 of 15 shots for the Canucks. Vancouver struggled to generate offense throughout the game, managing just 18 shots on goal.

The series now shifts to Nashville for Game 3 on Friday night.
