Fortnite’s SHADOW Briefings have replaced Bounty Boards and Job Boards, providing players with an engaging way to complete challenges and enhance their gameplay experience. These interactive terminals can be found at various locations across the map, indicated by an icon on the map and main screen upon proximity. Currently, four types of SHADOW Briefings exist, each with its unique requirements and rewards:
Supply Drop Deployment:
Players activate a Supply Drop, granting them access to valuable loot.Hidden Chest Hunt:
Players are guided to hidden rare chests, offering exclusive loot opportunities.Quest Completion Assistance:
Players receive assistance in completing specific quests, streamlining their progression.Elimination Objectives:
Players are tasked with eliminating opponents, contributing to their overall match performance. To accept a SHADOW Briefing, approach a terminal, follow the prompt, and select the tick from the wheel that appears. The briefing will then be displayed in the top left corner of the screen, detailing the task and providing a countdown timer for completion. Players can accept multiple briefings over a single match as long as they don’t overlap. By strategically utilizing these SHADOW Briefings, players can gain an edge in combat, acquire rare loot, and efficiently complete quests, making them an essential element of Fortnite’s gameplay.
