Upon attempting to intercept the vehicle, the RCMP engaged in a brief pursuit during which the occupants were seen discarding items, including a loaded SKS rifle, out the window. The vehicle was subsequently disabled on Township Road 432 and Range Road 241, leading to the arrest of the four individuals inside. Donovan Rain, a 32-year-old resident of Samson First Nation, has been charged with various offenses, including dangerous driving, and is scheduled for a court appearance on May 14th. Matthew Moonias, a 22-year-old from Louise Bull First Nation, faces several weapons-related charges. Jasmine Soosay and Ashantay Moonias, both 24 and 21 years old respectively and residents of Maskwacis, have been charged with three weapons offenses each.
