The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is investigating a dog attack that injured four people, including two teenagers and three adults, on Thursday afternoon. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. near 157 Street and 89 Avenue when two loose Pitbull dogs reportedly attacked several individuals. Upon arrival, EPS officers discovered two teenagers in their late teens who had been bitten, along with three adults who attempted to intervene. The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment. The dogs were subsequently seized by City of Edmonton bylaw officers.
The EPS has not yet released any information regarding the identity of the dog owners or whether charges will be laid in connection with the attack. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
