On Monday evening, at around 6 p.m., Mesa Fire crews were dispatched to a residence near Sossaman and Broadway roads after receiving reports of a child found in a swimming pool.
According to officials, the child was playing outside before being discovered in the water. The duration of the child’s submersion remains unknown.
The child’s current medical condition is undisclosed. No further information has been released as of this time.
