Framingham Man Found Dead Behind Shoppers World Business Identified

The Framingham Police Department, in conjunction with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, has disclosed the identity of the individual found deceased behind a commercial establishment in the Shoppers World complex. The body of Anthony Junior Lopez, a 30-year-old Framingham resident, was discovered behind Hot Table on Worcester Road. Lopez was employed at the business. Monica Thompson, Lopez’s former girlfriend, expressed her affection and grief at the scene on Tuesday, stating that she still cared for the victim. She emphasized the need for justice and urged witnesses to come forward, even anonymously, to assist in the investigation. Friends confirmed that Lopez had a young son. Authorities have noted that the body exhibited evident trauma, and the case has been referred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to establish the official cause of death.
