This collection, featuring friendship bracelets embellished with diamonds, sapphires, and emeralds, has captured the imagination of fashionistas worldwide.
The trend of friendship bracelets lettered with song titles, popularized by Taylor Swift’s Eras tour, has taken the internet by storm. McCormack’s initial research for Tapestry drew inspiration from the vibrant patterns of mini mosaics and the woven designs of old tapestries. This unexpected use of pattern and color for a jewelry designer known for her minimalist aesthetic reflects her commitment to creating wearable pieces. McCormack, who recently opened a pop-up space in Harrods, has long championed the concept of daytime diamonds. Her signature Gypset earrings, featuring delicate hoops adorned with blackened gold-set diamonds, heart-shaped sapphires, and Sardinian coral, seamlessly blend precious stones with casual style.
While the Tapestry collection draws on childhood nostalgia, McCormack chose two mature models from Germany and Paris for the accompanying campaign. “They represent the idea of a lifetime of friendship and the rich tapestry of life,” she explains with a smile. “I don’t have my family here with me in the UK, so my friends are literally my family.
