Sagar Gupta, a young entrepreneur from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, embarked on an extraordinary journey that transformed him from a promising Chartered Accountant to the founder of a ₹600 crore business empire. His story is one of ambition, vision, and the unwavering support of his family legacy.
Gupta’s path to success began with his dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant. He pursued his B.Com degree at the esteemed Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. However, as he neared the end of his studies, a different path beckoned. Inspired by his father’s 30-year legacy in the semiconductor business, Sagar decided to venture into the world of manufacturing.
In 2018, Sagar, alongside his father, established Ekkaa Electronics in Noida. With a clear vision and the solid foundation provided by his father’s experience, Sagar began producing LED TVs. The market was dominated by Chinese products, but Ekkaa Electronics quickly carved out its niche. Under Sagar’s leadership, the company experienced phenomenal growth. Leveraging his father’s contacts and industry know-how, Sagar secured deals with top brands like Samsung, Toshiba, and Sony.
Today, Ekkaa Electronics manufactures over one lakh TVs each month and supplies them to more than 100 companies. However, Sagar did not stop at TVs. He expanded the business into smartwatches, washing machines, and speakers. The company’s headquarters in Sonipat, Haryana, employs over 700 people, with Sagar Gupta at the helm as MD and chairman.
Sagar Gupta’s journey is a testament to his determination, entrepreneurial spirit, and the power of family legacy. From a promising career in accounting to building a ₹600 crore business empire in just four years, his story inspires aspiring entrepreneurs across India.
