Leah Marie Mazur’s second marriage ended in 2019, leaving her feeling devastated and questioning her worth. However, through a journey of self-healing and reflection, she has emerged from these experiences with a transformative perspective.
“The biggest misconceptions about divorce are that it means you’re selfish or a failure,” Leah says. “You are responsible for your own happiness. If your marriage is negatively affecting your well-being, you need to do something about it.”
During her time of healing, Leah realized that unresolved trauma from her past had led her to seek validation in relationships. She embarked on a journey of mindfulness, meditation, and journaling, which helped her understand her patterns and make healthier choices.
“I learned to love and forgive myself and meet my own needs for the first time,” she says.
Inspired by her own experiences, Leah launched a business as a divorce recovery coach, providing support and guidance to women navigating the challenges of marriage breakdowns. She shares the tools she learned and the mistakes she made to help others find their own paths to healing and empowerment.
Leah emphasizes the importance of self-awareness and setting healthy boundaries in relationships. She encourages women to take the time to heal before dating again and to prioritize their own well-being and happiness.
“When you know your worth, love yourself, and know what you bring to the table, you’ll have higher standards, stronger deal breakers, and attract healthier partners,” she says. “It always starts with you.”
Leah’s own journey has culminated in a fulfilling marriage since June 2021. She believes that by taking the time to focus on herself and heal her emotional wounds, she was able to create a healthier and more fulfilling relationship.
Leah’s story is a testament to the transformative power of self-discovery and the possibility of finding love and happiness after life’s challenges. She continues to inspire and empower women through her work as a divorce recovery coach, helping them navigate their own journeys towards healing and self-fulfillment.
