In 2000, Mira took a leap of faith and established Forest Essentials, India’s first domestic luxury skincare brand rooted in Ayurvedic principles. With a mere Rs 2 lakh investment and two employees, she launched her business from a garage, sourcing local ingredients from the Tehri Garhwal area.
Mira’s unwavering dedication and entrepreneurial spirit transformed Forest Essentials from a small-scale operation to a thriving brand. Today, it boasts over 110 stores across India and a global presence. The brand’s clientele includes prestigious hotels like Taj and Hyatt, and over 150 spas. Forest Essentials generated a revenue of Rs 253 crore in FY20 and Rs 210 crore in FY21, showcasing its immense success.
