FuboTV, a leading live-streaming service, is expanding its popular Multiview feature to Roku devices. This means users can now enjoy the ability to watch up to four channels simultaneously on select Roku models, bringing Fubo’s signature multi-screen experience to the largest streaming platform in the U.S.
What sets Fubo’s Multiview apart is its flexibility. Unlike some other services, Fubo allows users to watch any channel within Multiview, not just pre-selected options. This provides users with more control and customization over their viewing experience.
Currently, the Multiview beta supports up to four simultaneous streams on the Roku Ultra, and two streams on the Roku Express 4K, Roku Express 4K+, Roku Streaming Stick 4K, and Roku Streaming Stick 4K+. Fubo has indicated that more Roku devices will be added to the Multiview lineup in the future.
“Multiview has been one of our most-loved features and we’re thrilled to expand it to Roku users,” said Isaac Josephson, Fubo’s senior vice president of product management. “With Multiview and a suite of product features that enable content discovery and personalization, Fubo’s goal is to ensure fans never miss a moment of their favorite content.”
This expansion of Multiview to Roku comes on the heels of the release of the latest Roku Ultra, a new version of the popular streaming device. The updated Roku Ultra boasts improved internal hardware, resulting in a smoother and faster experience, better wireless connectivity, and new features powered by the latest Roku operating system.
With over 1.45 million subscribers, FuboTV is currently the fourth-largest live-streaming platform in the U.S. It is available on all major streaming devices, including Roku, with its Pro plan costing $79 per month after an initial discount. This expansion to Roku, the dominant streaming platform, positions Fubo to potentially capture a larger audience and further solidify its position in the live-streaming landscape.
