Fury vs. Usyk: Tyson Warned of Controversial Ending with Dirty Tactics

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are set to face off in a highly anticipated undisputed heavyweight title fight, and former boxing champion Johnny Nelson has a controversial prediction. Nelson believes Fury will struggle to find a mental edge over Usyk and may resort to dirty tactics to gain an advantage.

In a recent interview, Nelson shared a dream he had about the fight, in which the outcome was shrouded in controversy. He believes Fury’s trademark antics and mind games may not work on Usyk, who has remained composed and unfazed by Fury’s attempts at intimidation.

“Tyson is finding it very hard to intimidate Oleksandr Usyk,” Nelson said. “When they met face to face, he tried to use physicality, and Usyk, good on him, was cool and didn’t give it back.”

To overcome this obstacle, Nelson believes Fury will employ unconventional and potentially illegal tactics. “He’s got to rough him up, he’s got to lean on him, hit him low, push him to the floor, get in his face, rub his glove in his face, do all the unorthodox things,” Nelson explained.

He added, “He’s got to get the man rattled in order to feel comfortable. I think both men can win by knockout, without a doubt.”

Fury’s reputation as a fearless fighter suggests that he will be willing to push the boundaries in pursuit of victory. However, Nelson warns that Fury’s pride may be shattered if he were to lose to Usyk, a smaller opponent who moved up from the cruiserweight division.

“He said before he’d struggle to accept losing to a little cruiserweight,” Nelson said. “Tyson Fury’s undisputed heavyweight showdown with Oleksandr Usyk is on Saturday May 18, live on Sky Sports Box Office.”

Whether Fury resorts to dirty tactics and whether the fight ends in controversy remains to be seen. However, Nelson’s prediction has added another layer of intrigue to this highly anticipated clash.
